In Tibetan Buddhism
Contemplation & Meditation
on Sacred Images is central
to their Spiritual Practice.
The Mandala is one of the most Sacred Images of all.
Mandala
(Sanskrit: मण्डल, lit, circle)
a spiritual & ritual symbol in Indian religions, representing the universe.
a cosmic diagram reminding us of our relation to infinity, extending within & beyond our body & mind.
The mandala absorbs the mind in such a way that irritating thoughts are unable to get through and a spiritual essence surrounds the individual observing the mandala, which in turn allows the individual to experience a higher consciousness or awareness, almost as though being hypnotized.
Mandalas can be created by individuals to symbolize their journey through life.
Mandalas can also tell a story of where an individual has been & reveal the individual's path in life.
Groups can create mandalas that will reveal what they should be doing to grow and develop as a group.
According to Carl Jung ...
a Mandala is a Magical circle which is the symbol of the Self,
formed by the archetypal forces of the Unconscious.
"The Mandala is the Archetypal image whose occurrence is attested throughout the ages.
It signifies the wholeness of the Self.
This circular image represents the wholeness of the psychic ground or,
to put it in mythic terms, the Divinity incarnate in man"
.... quote from Memories, Dreams and Reflections. pages 334-335.

Sri Yantra
In India, YOGIC practices are completed with the Yantra or Mandala - a visual representation of the Mantra.
This deepens the Meditation & enables deepening into the "Gap" between thoughts : The place of total stillness also called "The Infinite Sea of Potentiality" where all is known & where all comes from : The place of Origin.
the center - the Bindhu
the place where from All of Life (invisible to visible) is constantly becoming & constantly returning.
A Mandala is a VERY powerful tool that can open one's consciousness into realms unknown.
Proper preparation & guidance before & through the internal process during the creation of a mandala is vital
to remain based on a solid foundation in the understanding of
"surrendering self into the Self" :
dropping Human mind & Human Knowledge
To merge into Cosmic Mind. The TRUE source of Divine Knowledge
available to all committed to their expansion Emotionally, Mentally, Physically & Spiritually.
Where your intuition as your Soul's guidance, is seen as your Window into Wisdom.
Different types of mandalas are used to represent and worship different Deities and the many archetypes we are inspired to embody as we evolve towards our wholeness.
Sri Yantra or Chakra or 'holy wheel' depicts in the most simple terms :
Nine interlocked triangles in a circle, radiating out from a central point,
which represents the Creation of the Universe through the union of the Masculine and Feminine Divine
with their many multi-dimensional attributes.
The Flower of Life
This beautiful Mandala depicts the EVOLUTION OF LIFE
across space and time.
Everything has a mathematical pattern.
The Flower of Life carries the pattern of the Universal Life Force.
This symbol has been found in stone within the Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt,
in Phoenician, Asian, Middle Eastern, & Christian art.
To this day no-one understands
the technology used to imprint this mandala into stone.
Leonardo Da Vinci channeled this mystical process to create the Vitruvian Man.
Meditation & creation of a Mandala helps us tap into the individual unconsciousness as proposed by Carl Jung and the collective consciousness (Universe consciousness) as proposed by Buddhists.
In our Sacred Art : Healing Mandala Classes,
The Mandala Becomes The Window into your Inner Wisdom.
The process enables you to penetrate your evolutionary stages
while being supported by the Vibrational healing tools,
which unveil your Intuitive Abilities consciously !
You will learn to become open to a Glimpse of insight, which will reveal to you
how even the worse experiences
can become as rich as dark compost
that will allow you to blossom into your evolution
consciously with an open Heart.
